Borrower reduced his interest rates, got a true no closing cost loan, and even had some escrow money paid for on his behalf. Regarding the HOA comment, lenders often require questionnaires to be filled out by HOA management companies when the property is a townhouse or condo. OHM often attempts to negotiate reduced fees charged by 3rd party services. In this case, extra efforts were made by contacting the HOA officers.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>&#8220;&#8230;Thank you so much for all of your help today.\u00a0 Irrespective of the outcome, you have gone out your way to help me and&#8230;. Thank you&#8230; All the hard work has come to fruition.\u00a0 I hope I can get decent credit back now :-)&#8221;\u00a0 [June 2, 2016]<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pooja S.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\"><em>Background:\u00a0 First-time home-buyer of a townhouse.\u00a0 Borrower&#8217;s credit report showed a recent 60 day late payment (new credit card, never got bills, $58 balance owed).\u00a0 Previously unaware of the situation, the borrower immediately paid the outstanding balance, along with interest and late fees that more than doubled the cost.\u00a0 Borrower requested to have the creditor clear her credit history, unsuccessfully.
